Labor Day is awesome

There this guy at Smithy, the place where I work, that has been there for a couple of weeks and I found out he was a guy yesterday. I seriously thought he was a woman for two whole weeks. Here's the deal though, I haven't really had any contact with him the whole time, I just passed him in the warehouse there and I'm stationed mostly in an office. The reason why I thought he was a she was because he was so fat and the clothes that he wore were very androgynous. He also had longer hair. But the kicker was that he was fat. When a person gets really big they tend to lose their gender or the characteristics of their gender. I think it's sad. The way I found out the truth was because I was working on something in the warehouse and this guy walks near me and was looking at what I was doing, he said mumbled something under his throat in a deep voice, and he had stubble. I really hope he's a guy, not really. More for me being right than anything else. With the evidence that I wrote down the verdict isn't that conclusive, is it? I'll keep working on it.

On another note Labor Day weekend kicked ass. Liz, another girl who lives in the same house as I who is also a good friend, invited me, Ellie, and her boyfriend Ryan up to her family cabin by Hubbard Lake somewhere in Northern Michigan. It was awesome up there. The cabin had a bunch of beds, a pool table, and some grand parents there that rocked. The grandma kept making tons of great good that we all constantly ate. I'm sure I gained a few pounds from it all. The lake was fun. We did some tubing, water skiing, frisbee in the water, swam, and found a platform that we could almost tip over with all four of us standing on one corner. A few rounds of king of the platform was played which gave us a few injuries. I got a bruise on my left arm from my elbow to my wrist from falling on it and then dragging it on the platform till I slid off. It still hurts, but I'll be okay. Ryan got kicked in the balls accidentally, and Ellie bled in a couple of places, all in good fun, of course. It was hard to leave but by the end of the weekend we were all sore all over and burnt in other places. The weather was great most of the time too, just some strong wind on Sunday. It was all pretty great. Here's some pics:

Great stuff.

I've also heard from my lawyer and he says that he and the other person's insurance company are now negotiating on a final settlement sum, which means it will all be over very soon. All the bills will be paid and I'll get some money.

Right now what I want to do most is go to business school in Sweden next fall. There this school that doesn't want a GRE or GMAT score and is increasing the number of US students for 2008. I'm going to shoot for it. Wish me luck.

There more stuff going on but I don't feel like typing about it right now.

Peace.
